One inch down and the draw has opened up slightly. The flavors remain the exact same on the draw. The finish has completely morphed into a mocha and earth with a black pepper flavor in the background. The mocha is the dominant flavor. It is sweet and smooth and leaves a silky coating on the palate. I can not remember a smoking experience where an obvious mocha note dominated the palate as much as the cigar is doing. The burn has evened out and is now preforming normally. The flavors stay on the palate long into the next draw and have started to ramp up to a medium to full.
With just one inch left, the draw flavors have stayed the same throughout the smoking experience. The mocha is still dominating the finish. It is still sweet, smooth, and silky. The cigar however is starting to get a little warm and mushy and the smoke is getting a little hot on the palate. I put the cigar down for the last time at the 1 hour and 9 minute mark. Overall, I felt the flavors of this cigar were not as complex as I was expecting them to be, however the flavors were desert like and tasty.
