Nica Libre Esteli Especial Robusto

Tonight we have the Nica Libre Esteli Especial Robusto.  This dark brown cigar has invisible seems and no visible veins.  It comes in at 5 X 50.  After lighting, the draw is slightly snug but does product a large amount of smoke.  The draw flavors have a nice baking spice note with some black pepper tingle through the retro hale.  The finish continues the baking spice and adds in some cedar.  The body is at a medium and the flavors stay on the palate till the next draw.  The burn through the first inch was razor sharp.

Just over an inch down and some flavor changes happen. The draw has completely opened up and is now perfect. The black pepper tinge intensifies through the retro hale.  The draw still has the baking spices.  The finish sees the baking spice drop off slightly.  The cedar is still present as well but is in the background. Leather and earth now reign supreme on the finish with a chocolate note coming in every few draws.  The chocolate leaves quickly but is a nice addition. The body is up to a medium to full.  The burn remains razor sharp.

With just over an inch left all the flavors remain from the last update are still present but the cigar is starting to get warm and mushy.  I sat it down for the last time at the 1 hour and 4 minute mark.  Overall, this was a tasty cigar with one nice transition.  When you factor in the cheap price of the cigar, you realize that this is a great bargain.
