Two inches down and things are going quite well. The draw continues to produce large amounts of smoke. The draw flavors have remained unchanged but are more intense. The finish starts out with the sweet tobacco and earthiness, the cedar is mixed in every few draws but has been muted. The coffee and bakers chocolate tend to trade places as the dominant note every few draws. Sometimes a leather will come in and out as well. The body is staying right at the medium to full level. The burn is still razor sharp and the cigar has presented no construction issues so far.
Three inches in and not much has changed. The draw and finish flavors have remained nearly the exact same. The only difference is the leather and earth have picked up and are dominating the coffee and bakers chocolate. The draw continues to produce tons of smoke out put. The body is still at a medium to full and the burn is razor sharp.
With just over an inch left the cigar starts to get warm. The chocolate and bakers chocolate did start to take back over as the dominate flavor in that last third. Now however, the black pepper has come way up and the cigar starts to take on a chard tobacco note. I sat the cigar down for the last time at the 1 hour and 25 minute mark. Overall this cigar had good desert like flavors and offered just enough complexity to keep me interested.
