Just over an inch has gone by and the draw has opened up. Smoke output is now at a normal level and the flavors are starting to blossom. The draw still has the black pepper flavor and tingle sensation followed by the salty earth. The finish continues the earth and pepper, the bitter coffee has transformed into a cream and mocha flavor. Its very rich and flavor full. The body is still at a medium to full and the flavors stay on the palate long into the next draw. The burn has has stayed even but not razor sharp.
Three inches down and not much has changed as far as the flavors go. The draw is still putting out good smoke output. The pepper flavor and tingle sensation along with the earth are still on the draw. The only difference on the finish is that a leather comes in every few draws or so giving it a nice change of pace. The body is still at a medium to full. The burn has evened out considerably and is now razor sharp.
With just over an inch left the cigar has gone warm and slightly mushy. The earth and black pepper are still on the draw but the pepper is more warm and has intensified. The mocha on the finish is still there but is slowly being replace by a chard and warm tobacco note. I sat the cigar down for the last time at the 1 hour and 42 minutes. Overall it was a very satisfying cigar with a great smoke time.
