CAO La Traviata Robusto Natural

Today we have the CAO La Traviata Robusto.  This cigar has a medium brown wrapper with no visible veins or seems.  It comes in at 5 X 50.  After lighting, the draw is perfect, giving off a large amount of smoke.  The draw has a bold black pepper flavor and burn sensation, especially through the nose on the retro hale.  There is a sweet earthiness there as well.  The finish continues the black pepper flavor and sweet earth and adds in a creamy cedar flavor at the tail end of the finish.  The flavors stay on the palate till the next draw.  The body is at a medium.  The burn is razor sharp.

Just over an inch down and not much has changed.  On the finish an almond note comes in and out every few draws.  Its subtle but the flavor is definitely there.  Its a nice complement to the earth, black pepper, cedar, and leather.  The body is up to a medium to full.  The burn remains razor sharp.

At the 55 minute mark the cigar started to get warm and mushy.  The flavors were no longer enjoyable, so I sat the cigar down for the last time.  Overall, the flavors this cigar put off were tasty but fairly plain overall.  The construction and draw were perfect.  I would recommend this cigar to the newbie all the way to the veteran cigar smoker.  The cigar had easy to pick out flavors and was a delight to smoke!
