Two inches down and mostly everything has stayed the same. The black pepper flavor and tingle sensation are still on the draw along now with some earthiness. The black pepper is also fairly intense through the retro-hale. The finish still has the black pepper. The bakers chocolate has smoothed out and is no long as bitter as before. The peppery leather is still there but is now not as intense. The new dominating flavor is a roasted coffee note that stays on the palate after the other finish flavors leave. The body is now up to a medium to full. The burn remains razor sharp.
With just over an inch left most of the other flavors have been replaced by some cedar and a chard tobacco flavors. The pepper has come up a bit and is very tingly on the palate, especially through the retro-hale. The cigar is still medium to full in body. The burn remained razor sharp throughout. I sat the cigar down for the last time at the 48 minute mark. Overall, this cigar has some tasty flavor combos and was fairly complex throughout its entirety. The burn was however a little quick even for a robusto. I would recommend this cigar for a seasoned cigar smoker or a newbie trying to find something a little heavier with easy flavors to pick out and enjoy!
