Two inches down and not a lot has changed. The draw however has opened up and is now producing a large amount of smoke. The jalapeno flavor and tingle sensation are dominating the draw flavors. The finish is a creamy and sweet cedar with a nice earthiness to round out the flavors. The flavors are still staying on the palate long after the draw and the body is still at a medium. The burn is still razor sharp. The construction is still perfect.
Three inches down and some flavor shifts start to happen. The draw has the jalapeno flavor and tingle sensation. The finish has the sweet creamy cedar and earth but a smoked wood note has come in on the tail end of the finish. Every other draw or so the finish takes on some leather as well. The cigar seems to be transitioning a little bit and has been preforming perfectly up to this point. The draw is still producing large amounts of smoke. The burn line continues to be razor sharp.
With just over an inch left the jalapeno and sweet cedar have become dominant on the draw and finish. The leather and earth creep in every few puffs but are quickly dominated by the sweet cedar and jalapeno. The cigar however is starting to get warm and mush. I sat it down for the last time at the 1 hour and 22 minute mark. This cigar preformed beautifully and did have some of the same aspects to the other cigars in the line. The main difference with this cigar as compared to the other cigars in the line is that the flavors seem to be more prominent and magnified. I highly recommend this cigar if you can find it!
