One inch down and not a lot has happened. The draw is still producing good smoke output. The initial draw flavor is the smooth creamy cedar. The finish continues the combo of the sweet rich tobacco and creamy cedar. The only difference up to this point is that the flavors are becoming more medium bodied and intensified. The finish is up to a solid medium in body and the flavors stay on the palate long into the next draw. The burn remains perfect and construction is outstanding.
Two inches down and some flavor shifts occur. The draw is still producing a good amount of smoke. The draw has finally added in a little black pepper flavor and tingle sensation. Not a lot but enough to note. The creamy smooth cedar is still present on the draw as well. The finish has the sweet & rich tobacco core along with some baking spice. Every few puffs the baking spice dominates the finish over shadowing the sweet tobacco. The cigar remains at a medium body. The burn remains razor sharp with perfect construction.
With just over an inch left the cigar is getting warm and mushy. The only flavors that remain are a chard tobacco and bitter nuttiness. I sat the cigar down for the last time at the 1 hour and 10 minute mark. One thing to note about this cigar was its perfect draw, burn, and overall construction. I cant remember a cigar I have had in the last year that had any better performance construction wise. The flavors were fairly common and not as complex as I would have liked, but I would definitely smoke this cigar again, especially for the price.
