In inch and a half down the cigar and things start to change slightly. The draw flavors are the exact same as the last update with the pepper and cedar. The finish continues the cedar, black pepper flavor and tingle near the end of the finish. A slight bit of coffee comes in every few puffs. Its very faint but complements the cedar well. The whole smoking experience is getting sweeter as the smoke goes on. The cedar however is the main note that is coming through. The body is up to a solid medium and the burn and construction remain excellent.
Three inches down the cigar and not much has changed. The draw flavors remain the same. The finish also remains the same. A small bit of caramel has been added to the faint coffee and bold cedar. The trend of continuing sweetness has maxed out. The body also maxed out at a medium. The burn and construction still remain excellent.
with just over an inch to go I sat the cigar down for the last time at the 1 hour and 18 minute mark. The flavors went warm and the cigar a little mushy. Overall this was a good cigar that offered typical Cameroon flavors. The flavors that I usually get from the regular Decade line were no where to be seen. This is a good anytime cigar option but for the money I would reach for the original Decade line in any size over this one.
