Just under two inches down and there is absolutely nothing to report as far as changes. The black pepper and creamy cedar are the flavors on the draw and the finish. The black pepper has picked up in intensity on the retro-hale, but other than that there is nothing else to report. The flavors are starting to last a little longer on the palate and are now up to a medium body. The burn remains razor sharp.
Three inches down and a nice creamy leather is now accompanying the black pepper and creamy cedar on the the draw and finish. That has been the only addition to the flavor profile so far. The flavor are tasty but are there has been no transition or change since first light. The cigar is still at a medium body and the burn remains razor sharp.
With just over an inch left I sat the cigar down for the last time at the 1 hour and 10 minute mark. The cigar had a good burn time for a robusto and lacked complexity. I do like a good cedar and leathery cigar however it does get quite boring over the length of an hour and ten minutes. For the price point of this cigar I would have expected a little more flavor. Overall however, the cigar preformed well with construction.
