Two inches down and mainly everything has stayed the same. The draw is still requiring a double puff for adequate smoke out put. This is causing the cigar to heat up more than I would prefer. The draw flavors are still the sweet cedar and oak with the black pepper flavor and tingle. The finish still sees the sweet ceder and oak and black pepper still dominating. Every few puffs a leather note is present through the retro hale and the pepper slightly intensifies. The body is up to a medium. The burn has required a few touch ups.
At the 1 hour and 24 minute mark I sat he cigar down for the last time because it was to warm for my liking. The same flavors remained on the draw and finish that were previously mentioned. The cigar was consistent all the way through. Construction was an issue with this cigar. Between the flavors getting heated up with the double puffs because of the tight draw, and the touch ups, this cigar was almost a pain to smoke. The flavors were enjoyable but very plain. The burn time however was pretty impressive for a robusto.
