My Father La Antiguedad Corona Grande

Today we have the La Antiquedad Corona Grande.  It has a medium brown oily wrapper.  It has a few visible seems and invisible veins.  It comes in at 6 1/4 X 47.  At first light the draw is a bit tight but is producing adequate smoke out put.  The draw flavors are a slightly creamy cedar and black pepper flavor and tingle sensation.  The finish is a earthy leather and dark chocolate.  The finish flavors stay on the palate till the next draw and are at a medium to full body. The burn isn't razor sharp but its not an issue through the first inch.

Two and a half inches down and the draw remains a little tight.  Smoke output has dropped a little but is still producing enough smoke to have a good smoking experience.  The draw flavors remain the same as the first update.  The finish also remains the same as well but the pepper and flavor tingle sensation have really picked up.  The flavors stay on the palate well into the next draw and are at a solid full body.  The burn has required a few minor touch ups and has remained wavy since first light.

Three inches down and nothing has really changed.  The flavors are fairly complex but consistent.  They're are a lot of flavors going on but they have not changed the entire length of the cigar.  The flavors remain at a full body and the burn has required another minor touch up after the ash fell off.

With just over two inches left I sat the cigar down for the last time at the 1 hour and 9 minute mark.  Overall, the cigar had good flavor and sub par construction.  The only notes remaining after the last puff was the black pepper flavor and tingle sensation and a slightly chard tobacco flavor.
