Ezra Zion Tantrum PA(Passive Agressive)

Today we have the Ezra Zion PA.  This cigar has a light brown wrapper with minimal veins and seems.  It is box pressed and come in at 6.5 X 44.  After lighting, the draw is slightly snug and smoke output is minimal.  The draw flavors are some black pepper flavor and cedar.  The finish has a naturally sweet tobacco note and more cedar.  The cigar is currently at mild in body.  The burn is razor sharp and construction is flawless through the first inch.

Just over an inch down and the draw is still tight but is now putting out more smoke.  The draw flavor has now added in the natural sweet tobacco the cedar and black pepper flavor are present as well.  The flavors on the finish are more of the same. The flavor so far is fairly mild and tame.  Its still at a mild to this point in body.  The burn is still razor Sharp and the construction is perfect.

Three inches in and things are changing.  The draw flavors are the sweet tobacco and cedar with some black pepper flavor and tingle sensation.  The finish starts with he sweetness and transfers over to the black pepper flavor and tinge sensation with some leather.  The mildness has moved up to a medium bordering on full.  The sweetness is starting to come out more with each puff as is the pepper(especially through the retro). The burn has remained razor sharp.

Now three and a half inches in and the cigar has completely moved back to the mildness.  The sweetness is still present on the draw and finish along with the cedar.  The black pepper flavor is there but not dominant like the last update. The leather does come back in every few puffs or so. This is a very unique cigar. The burn did get a little uneven and did require one touch-up  The transition from mild to medium-full back to mild is something I have never experienced before.  It truly is going for passive to aggressive.  This cigar so far has been memorable.

With just over two inches left the cigar has gone back to a medium bordering on full in body.  The black pepper is now dominating again and the sweetness is still present but now is being over shadowed by the black pepper. Every few puffs a sweet coffee comes in but fades out quickly. At the 1 hour and 22 minute mark the cigar started to get mushy and had a bit of a chard tobacco taste that washed out all of the other flavors.  I sat the cigar down for the last time at the 1 hour and 25 minute mark.  This was a very interesting cigar.  I cant say Ive ever had anything quite like it before.
