Almost two inches down and the black pepper remains dominant. Especially through the retro hale. The cedar continues on the finish and is joined by an almond note. A cream note also comes in near the end of the finish. The flavors continue to stay on the palate till the next draw and the body has built up to a medium to full. The burn remains razor sharp.
Three inches down and a coffee note has come on the finish. The almond, cedar, and cream are still present. As well as the black pepper flavor and tingle sensation through the retro hale. The cigar is still at a medium to full in body. The draw has opened up slightly and is now producing better out put. The burn has remained razor sharp throughout.
At the 1 hour and 18 minute mark the cigar started to get warm and mushy. Overall, this cigar was not what I expected. It doesn't have your typical connecticut flavors. This definitely is not a mild cigar. I recommend this cigar to the seasoned smoker and the new smoker looking for something more full in body but not over powering.
