Three quarter of an inch into the cigar an some flavor changes have happened. The black pepper is punishing through the retro hale. The black pepper flavor and tingle sensation starts off the draw flavors with the sweet cedar not far behind. The finish still has the black pepper and sweet cedar. Some earth and cashew notes have now started to come in at the tail end of the finish as well. The body is now up to a full. The burn remains razor sharp.
Three inches down and all the flavors remain. Every few puffs a leather note dominates the other flavors on the finish till the next draw. Also, a cinnamon spice has entered as well on the finish. It comes in right after the black pepper starts to die down. The cigar is quite complex and full bodied. The burn remains razor sharp.
With just over an inch left all the flavors have been washed out by a warm tobacco note. I sat the cigar down for the last time at the 48 minute mark, which is a good time for a corona sized cigar. Overall, this cigar was a tiny powerhouse. Full flavored and tasty. I recommend this cigar for the seasoned smoker looking for something that will give off a full bodied experience that will not take 2 hours to smoke.
