Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 Torpedo

Today we the Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 in Torpedo.  This medium brown cigar has a box pressing with no visible veins or seems.  It comes in at 6 1/2 X 54.  After lighting, the draw is perfect giving off lots of smoke.  The draw flavors have show a nice black pepper spice on the tongue and through the retro hale.  Some zesty cedar comes in as well.  The finish sees the black pepper drop off.  The zesty cedar comes up and is complimented by earth and leather notes. The body of the cigar is at a medium.  The burn through the first inch is razor sharp.

Just over two inches down and some all the flavors remain.  An addition of a bitter dark coffee comes in on the finish and dominates the pepper, zesty cedar, and leather.  The body has been slowing turning up to become medium to full.  A little strength has also kicked in.  I'm starting to sweat a little bit and get a light head.  I would say the strength is at a medium.  Its nothing overpowering but is noticeable.  The burn through two inches has been razor sharp and the draw has been perfect producing large amounts of smoke out put since the very first puff!

With Just over an inch to go I sat the cigar down for the last tie at the 1 hour and 22 minute mark.  Overall this cigar wasn't very complex but was tasty and did have enough body and strength to keep it interesting.  Construction out dueled the flavors on this one.  The construction was perfect for the entire duration of the cigar.  Perfect burn and perfect draw.  The flavors had just enough to keep it interesting.
