Two inches down and some light roast coffee notes join in on the draw flavors. The retro hale remains fairly spicy and the sweet earth is still there a well. The finish has the light roast coffee combine with the leather. Every few puffs the leather and light roast coffee fight each other for domination. When they combine its a weird spicy and sweet flavor that I am having a hard time placing a name to. Its not the best flavor but it is quite unique. Most of the time the leather note wins the fight. The body is at a medium and has not wavered from that mark. The draw and burn remain excellent.
With just over an inch left I sat the cigar down in the ashtray for the last time at the 1 hour and 4 minute mark. The cigar started to get warm and mushy near the end and a chard earth flavor dominated. It was quite unpleasant so I decided to call it quits. The body never went over medium until that last few puffs I took of the cigar. The construction of this cigar was perfect. Great burn, great draw! The flavors were a little boring and there were a few times I thought the flavors were getting ready to amp up but just went back to the same spicy leather, light coffee, and earth. Overall a good cigar but it left me wanting more in the flavor department.
