Tatuaje Nuevitas Esteli Robusto

Today we have the Tatuaje Nuevitas Esteli Robusto.  This cigar has a chocolate brown wrapper with invisible veins and seems and has a great looking pack to it.  It comes in at 5 X 52.  After lighting, the draw is great, producing large amounts of smoke!  The draw flavors are a mild black pepper flavor with some sweet earth and natural tobacco notes.  The retro hale sees the black pepper staying at a medium with just a little bit of burn and tingle sensation through the nose, a bit of cedar is also present.  The finish is sweet earth and dark chocolate notes.  The flavors stay on the palate fairly long and the body is at a medium.  The burn has been razor sharp so far.

Just under two inches down and the draw and finish flavors have stayed nearly the same.  A nice overall sweetness has come up and a nougat and graham cracker flavor now accompany the black pepper, earth, and dark chocolate.  The cigar is very tasty and very dessert like. The Flavors are very rich and mix well together.  The body is at a medium to full.  The burn and draw remain great and have presented no issues.

With just over an inch left the cigar started to take on a chard tobacco and almond flavor.  I sat the cigar down for the last time at the 1 hour and 5 minute mark, which is a good amount of time for a robusto size cigar.  Overall, the cigar wasn't overly complex but the rich, sweet, dessert like flavors were very enjoyable.  I have had chocolaty and graham flavors before but they were never as rich and sweet and in your face like this particular blend was!  If you find it pick it up, its one of the better Tatuaje's I've ever smoked, and that's saying a lot!
