Tatuaje TAA 50th

Tonight we have the TAA 50th.  This dark brown trunk pressed cigar has no visible veins or seems.  It comes in at 5 X 52.  After lighting, the draw is perfect! Its putting amount a perfect amount of smoke with just the right amount of resistance.  The draw flavors are a fairly strong black pepper, creamy sweet earth, and coffee.  The finish is the exact same and it carries on through the long finish.  The body is medium to full.  The burn through the first inch was razor sharp.

A few more inches down the cigar and the flavor profile is identical with an addition of some milk chocolate on the finish.  The flavors are getting richer and more tasty as the cigar goes along.  The construction is perfect.  The draw remains perfect as does the burn.  The body is still at the medium to full in range and the finish flavors stay on the palate long into the next draw.

With just over an inch left, the black pepper note has come way up and all the sweetness from the creamy sweet earth, as well as the coffee and milk chocolate have gone away.  A nutty leather flavor is starting to take over and whats left of the nub is starting to become mushy.  I sat the cigar down for the last time at the 1 hour and 22 minute mark.  Overall, this cigar wasn't much for complexity but the cigars flavors were decadent and delicious.  I highly recommend trying to find this cigar if you can!
