Just under an inch down and some flavors are added in. The draw continues to be heavy on the black pepper flavor and tingle, especially through the nose. The finish has a creamy texture and flavor. Then the sweet earth comes in. The black pepper spice comes back in and a vanilla bean note follows. The flavors stay on the palate till the next draw. The body is still at a medium to full. The burn remains razor sharp.
Just over two inches in and some flavor explosions happen. The draw sees the black pepper flavor and tingle die down slightly. The finish starts out with the black pepper zing. Then the sweet earth comes in. The vanilla is still present but is faint. A dark chocolate and coffee note has come in as well as a chocolate cherry note that comes in every few draws but goes away fairly quickly. The flavors are getting very complex and rich. The body is up to a full. The burn remains razor sharp.
With just over an inch left the cigar started to get warm and bitter and most of the flavors have been washed out. I sat the cigar down for the last time at the 1 hour and 15 minute mark, which is an excellent time for a corona. Overall, this cigar really impressed me with flavors and complexity as well as the construction. For being under 6 dollars this cigar gives great bang for your buck. I highly recommend tracking some down!
